Deputy President William Ruto's team is planning to exit Jubilee Party three months to the 2022 General Election.
The Tanga Tanga MPs are said to have agreed to stay around until that time when the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) cannot hold a by-election when an MP is suspended.
Keiyo South MP Daniel Rono said there are those lawmakers who will be banking on Section 45 of the Elections Act to exit earlier.
The Act states that a recall of an MP cannot happen less than a year to the next General Election.
The team which is technically operating under the newly formed United Democratic Alliance (UDA) is set to start grassroots mobilisation in April 2021.
